I first visited Mansureh for alterations in 1990. I have been having her do my work now for 21 years. She is a fabulous seamstress and has an eye for how to make a garment look the best on you. Her work is incredible.

I have enjoyed 12 years of very professional alterations and fashion consulting. I often take her advice on colors and how an outfit should be changed. Mansureh has been delightful to work with and to know.

For more than 20 years, Mansureh has custom tailored clothing for me and my family.  Everything from wedding gowns to window coverings.  And she works on all kinds of fabric too–everything from leather to chiffon.  She is a very talented and creative lady who has sewn for well-know actors and performers when she lived and worked in New York City.  Mansureh is not only fast and professional, she is an outstanding seamstress.

What phenomenal quality! Mansureh did a beautiful job making the most gorgeous three piece mother-of-the-bride outfit ever! She had to work with silk charmeuse and silk chiffon, and the tiny seams, perfect length, and fine design show not only her professionalism, but also her keen eye for perfection. As my daughter and I were returning home on an airplane, I explained to my neighbor in the next seat that I needed someone to make my jacket, chamisole, and dancing pants for the wedding. Even though she was a total stranger, after she told me about Mansureh’s background, I relied upon her to get the name of this remarkable lady for me! Thank Heavens I did, as my outfit is spectacular! Thank you, Mansureh!!!!

I would like to rave about the fabulous job that Mansureh did on my wedding dress! I was in a real bind when I came in to get my dress altered 2 weeks before my wedding! I had lost a lot of weight since purchasing my wedding dress so when it came in it had to be taken in a lot. I went to a seamstress who told me that because there was so much lace on the dress that there was no way that she could alter the dress. I went into panic mode! There was 2 weeks till my wedding and I had a dress that was two sizes two big on me! My maid of honor starting researching seamstress’s in Albuquerque online and came across Mansureh’s website. She was very impressed by what she saw on the website and called immediately to make an appointment. Mansureh’s was able to meet with me on a Sunday (which was Mother’s Day). She looked at the dress and told me that although it would be a lot of work she would be able to fix the dress for me and it would look perfect! Boy did she deliver! I went in for my last fitting 2 days before my wedding and I was nervous to say the least, but when I tried it on I was so happy with the results. The dress fit perfectly! I was very impressed with her work and I will definitely recommended her to anyone of my friends and family that need alternations in the future. Thanks again Mansureh’s for saving the day and allowing me to feel beautiful on my wedding day.
